If I Was a Rich Girl šŸ’µšŸŽ¶

(Oh wait, I already am)

Aka: realizing I already have so much to be grateful for & recognizing all the blessings we have!!

Lately Iā€™ve been thinking a lot about money.

At the beginning of this month we went over our numbers and realized, holy sh*t we spend way too much on groceries and amazon. šŸ˜…

Thereā€™s a few things weā€™re doing right now to set ourselves up for a less-stressful state of mind around finances. The first thing is simply being more in-the-know of what our numbers are and more intentional around our spending/saving.

Iā€™m doing a lot of work around my mindset & itā€™s been wildly helpful and eye-opening already. Keep reading to hear what Iā€™ve been learning (and some āœØrich girl resourcesāœØ Iā€™ve been loving lately!)

My Rich Girl Habits this Week:

  • Walking 45 min every day

  • Starting every day with gratitude for what we have

  • Inviting others to invest in us (aka: actually talking about our offers ā€” spoiler alert, we have some new exciting offers coming out this week!! Make sure youā€™re following us on Instagram @joandlyndon to see what they are. šŸ¤)

What Rich Girl Habits will you be practicing this week? Hit reply and let me know, I love me some inspo!! āœØ

Journal Prompt: What is the wealthy, not stressed about money, version of me like?

Last week I came across this video and while I donā€™t love the whole topic of manifesting (itā€™s okay if you do ā€” you do you & Iā€™ll do me, okay? šŸ«¶šŸ¼) I thought this advice was SO GOOD. And it prompted me to write out some thoughts around the above question. What came up was so valuable for me because it showed me these are things I can be putting into practice now! Hereā€™s a few things that came up for me šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

  • Not ā€œeasily influencedā€ ā€” she makes intentional investments that will support her (not stress her)

  • She doesnā€™t stretch herself beyond her margins. She isnā€™t afraid to say no to invites or requests that arenā€™t within her means.

  • She practices gratitude every day for the life she has now & the abundance she already experiences.

  • Her inner circle exemplifies the healthy habits she wants to practice around money, too.

  • She saves more than she spends.

  • She knows she is already rich & knows thereā€™s always more available (but isnā€™t striving for it).

Hit reply and tell me what comes up for you with this question! Iā€™d love to hear!!

On a similar note, I posed this question on Threads last week & the responses were so good!!

This is such a cool thread to read through (and Iā€™d love to hear your thoughts in the comments, too!)

āœØRich Girl ResourcesāœØ Iā€™ve Been Loving:

Okay there are three quick resources Iā€™ve found super fun & helpful when it comes to money lately!!

The level of transparency in this podcast was so amazing. I love how Ericka & Kyle donā€™t shame you for having debt, instead they share their own story and what they did to overcome it. So freaking good. Highly recommend giving it a listen (and obviously, take what you like and leave what you donā€™t. šŸ˜‰).

Okay this video came up on my FYP over the weekend & I freaking love the whole concept so much. It definitely sent me down a rabbit hole šŸ˜… Abigail has a goal of saving $100k by the end of 2025 and sheā€™s sharing the whole journey. Its so cool to hear about her progress and the transparency she has around it!

I read You are a Badass at Making Money years ago and it made such a big difference on the way I viewed money. Recently one of our clients mentioned she was listening to the audiobook version of it so I immediately went and downloaded it on Libby (which is amazing if you love audiobooks & have a library card btw). It has been SO helpful to listen to!! Iā€™ve also been going through the journaling prompts at the end of each chapter which is key. Thatā€™s how you really start to see some progress!

If you made it this far, YOUā€™RE AMAZING (and I have no doubt amazing things are in store for you, too). āœØ
